Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position, requiring a NC or compact RN license and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- 8-week local traveler contract
- Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
- Free parking is available
- Deliver competent clinical nursing care using the nursing process in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Responsible for prioritizing and organizing care for patients with complex and urgent needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and implement individualized patient care plans
- Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required
- May participate in education, patient assessment, planning, and performance improvement activities
- Promote a safe and clean environment, and provide patient and family education tailored to readiness and need
- Open only to local travelers
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Diploma program, ADN, or ASN required
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
