Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least one year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Shift is 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., three days per week
- Eight-week contract assignment
- Care for a diverse emergency patient population
- Epic charting system is used and previous Epic experience is required
- Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Provides care for patients with complex problems including both physical and psychosocial needs
- Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participates in unit goals and performance improvement activities
- Must report to the lab for required drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
- Free parking available on site
- Local travelers are preferred for this position
- Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact state
- Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required
- At least one year of nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
