Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Food Service, Starbucks) position at Target.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.00 USD per hour.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist guests to solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks as directed by leadership to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment certified by leadership to move merchandise or store fixtures where applicable.
• Perform processes such as price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws and store policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders as required.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and elements while performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
