The X-Ray Technician captures radiographic images for diagnostic purposes. This function requires
In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment and procedures, as well as strong patient interaction skills.
Key responsibilities:- Take radiographic images and develop diagnostic films.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and use protective equipment.
- Adjust the video displays for optimum image quality.
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and comfort.
- Evaluate and document radiographic imaging findings.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Coordinate schedules and ensure equipment functionality.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary.
- Diploma or degree in radiography.
- Active Florida License/Permit in X-Ray Technology.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Preferably bilingual (Spanish/English).
