Memorial healthcare system provides evidence-based care and innovative therapies, including inhaled nitric oxide, high-frequency oscillation, and invasive and non-invasive ventilator support modalities. Opportunities exist for motivated registered respiratory therapists (and certified respiratory therapy technicians) with the skills to provide high-quality service in settings such as the ed, trauma and critical care.
summarysupervises daily staff activities for pediatric cardiopulmonary services.
responsibilities- provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
- performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.

complexity of work: requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
required work experience: three (3) years of experience. Nbrc is preferred. Department specific credentials: nrp for nicu; pals for pediatric areas; acls for adult areas.
