Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Assistant Beverage Manager, the incumbent maintains adequate levels of bar glassware as required and a high standard of cleanliness to the bar areas to ensure high caliber service to customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
- Duties include, but are not limited to removing glassware from the casino floor, detail cleaning of equipment, washing, sweeping, sanitizing, trash removal and grounds maintenance.
- Ensures that ample supplies of glassware are available during service periods.
- Performs work assignments directed by beverage management.
- Receives soiled glassware, placing items according to size and likeness on automatic dishwashing conveyor belt.
- Responsible for running dish machines.
- Removes washed glassware from automatic dishwasher and stacks them according to size and likeness for future use.
- Polishes glassware.
- Returns items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash.
- Responsible for returning glassware to proper departments.
- Responsible for collecting glassware from stationary casino beverage carts.
- Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation practices and procedures to ensure that bars and related equipment remain clean, sanitary and odor-free at all times.
- Knowledgeable of and adherence to food and beverage department regulations and procedures.
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. T.I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification is preferred.
Work Environment:
- May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
