Overview
Location:
Hollywood, Florida. Join Memorial Healthcare System as a Corporate Communications Manager - FT - Days. This role develops and executes strategic corporate communications plans to promote Memorial service lines, programs and medical experts in local, regional, and national media markets, while aligning with brand journalism and internal/corporate messaging. The Manager leads internal and executive communications, supports HR and internal stakeholder communication needs, and collaborates with marketing and creative teams to deliver communications tools and assets.
- Manage all aspects of corporate communications, developing stories and assets for internal stakeholders and repurposing content for local, national, trade, niche, business, special interest media outlets and digital media.
- Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, Memorial leadership, vendors, journalists, editors, producers, and others.
- Maintain and update the issue management/crisis communications plan; hold bi-annual cross-functional reviews; be on-call during crises and potentially serve as a spokesperson.
- Update corporate communication materials (media kits, fact sheets, corporate brochures, online newsroom) and support internal communications needs from Human Resources, Compliance, Legal and other departments.
- Provide counsel on communications strategies for various audiences and outcomes; collaborate with marketing and creative teams to fulfill communication requests.
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets; ensure compliance with funding allocations; oversee vendor contracts and optimize tools for timely execution of communications that meet Memorial quality standards.
- Lead Corporate Communications activities including physician communication, internal communications, and system-wide projects; generate internal communications plans and integrate communication tools; review campaign and asset metrics for efficacy.

- Bachelors (Required)
- Required:
Five (5) years of experience in a media relations role. - Demonstrated expertise in media relations, corporate communications, and collateral material development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage people, multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Physical Requirements
- Typical office environment; some travel may be required.
- Key activities include keyboard entry (approximately 60%), sitting (60%), and standing (60%), with various movement and sensory requirements listed in the original description.
Primarily for office workers; not eligible for shift differential.
