Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Clinical Manager - NICU - FT - Nights with a $20K sign-on bonus for JDCH. The role manages daily operations of the NICU department to align with departmental and organizational objectives and may provide direct patient care.

Responsibilities- Assess the quality of patient care delivered; evaluate patient and family needs and provide patient- and family-centered care.
- Manage complaints and conflicts through to resolution.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on assessments to optimize outcomes and resource use; monitor and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
- Assist with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives that support the organization’s strategic plan and vision.
- Ensure regulatory compliance; identify needs for systems, equipment, and supplies; monitor usage and ensure equipment and supplies are adequate.
- Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management; may oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Accredited Nursing Program (Required)
- RN License - State of Florida (Required)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- PALS Certification (as applicable per area; NICU/Pediatric requirements per policy)
- Two (2) years of nursing experience required.
- Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, Fetal Monitoring) per unit requirements and departmental policy.
- Note:
Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain ACLS and/or PALS and Fetal Monitoring if applicable.
Physical Requirements
- Significant patient- and family-centered care responsibilities; ability to work in a high-stress environment.
- Fabricated list of typical duties and physical requirements includes ability to lift 25-75 lbs non-patient, standing, walking, reaching, keyboard use, and exposure to biohazards and chemicals as applicable.
- Other conditions include exposure to blood and/or bodily fluids, hazards, and 80% effort in various tasks (as listed in the original description).
