Our client in the industrial material-handling equipment industry is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to add to their team in Florida. In this highly visible role, you will drive growth across a territory with significant untapped potential by prospecting for new business, building relationships with industrial customers, and managing technical sales opportunities from initial contact through order placement. The ideal candidate will have overhead crane and hoist sales experience, with a background working with engineering firms, contractors, manufacturers, or industrial end users.

To be successful, you must be a self-motivated technical sales professional, skilled at hunting for new business, consultative selling, and building long-term customer relationships

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share throughout Florida
• Assess customer needs and recommend overhead cranes, hoists, and related solutions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop technical solutions for customer applications
• Prospect new business with industrial customers, manufacturers, contractors, and distributors
• Leverage leads from Google Ads, lead search services, trade shows, and industry networking
• Prepare internal RFQs and coordinate with estimating teams to develop customer proposals
• Present quotations, negotiate terms, and manage opportunities through order placement
• Develop weekly travel schedules for in-person meetings with existing and prospective customers
• Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and build customer relationships
• Join weekly company sales meetings to review opportunities, pipeline activity, and forecasts
• Develop strategic accounts and achieve territory sales, growth, and gross-margin objectives

• 3+ years of overhead crane and hoist sales experience are required
• Strong consultative & technical sales experience is required
• Strong technical aptitude to understand engineered products and applications is required
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications is required
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required
• Ability to travel 60% across the state of Florida is required
