Field Service Technician

In this customer-facing position, you will represent Evac to our supermarket segment customers, ensuring that our vacuum systems are serviced according to the job scope. You'll play a key role in maintaining system performance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Service vacuum systems in land-based segments according to job scope; occasional ad-hoc repairs.
• Troubleshoot systems both on-site and remotely.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure installations meet guidelines; implement/report corrective actions.
• Complete service reports promptly after each job.
• Independently manage daily schedules with customers.
• Train customers on system operation and preventive solutions.

Requirements

• Previous technical experience is an advantage but not required.
• Valid passport, driver's license, and eligibility to work for a US company.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Competent in MS Word and Excel.
• Physical ability: lift 30 lbs overhead, work from heights (ladders & scissor lifts), tight spaces, and lying down.
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts for up to 2 weeks straight.
• Skills with hand tools and light power tools are an advantage.
• Willingness to learn on the job.
• Readiness to travel up to 180 days/year with short notice.
