This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of specialized equipment in 7-Eleven stores within a geographic area. Service calls are initiated from the store via 7

Help work orders to the technician. Reports to the Area Facilities Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responds to work orders for equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, hot and cold beverage equipment, ice makers, hot food equipment, fuel dispensers, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.

Replaces 'plug and play' equipment and manages parts inventory.

Performs preventative and basic maintenance on structures and equipment including dispensers, POS systems, computers, security, HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, signs, and pumps.

Schedules, prioritizes, and documents daily duties and work assignments.

Inspects equipment to determine servicing needs, reads and follows service manuals, calibrates equipment, and recommends external contractors when necessary.

Assists in troubleshooting, provides training to other technicians, and works in a safe manner regardless of weather conditions.

Participates in training, handles special projects, and complies with safety regulations.

Education and Experience

High School/GED preferred
5+ years relevant work experience
Must have certifications from manufacturer or government agency

Knowledge and Skills

Leadership and peer support skills
Effective communication and project management
Ability to work independently and make decisions
Provides guidance to less experienced staff
