HVAC Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:
  Install new HVAC units, ductwork, piping, and components (furnaces, condensers, fans) following blueprints.
• Maintenance:
  Perform routine preventative maintenance (lubricating motors,
• cleaning coils, replacing filters) to ensure system efficiency.
• Troubleshooting & Repair:
  Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues; repair or replace faulty components.
• Control Systems:
  Install and calibrate thermostats, automation controls, and safety devices.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Adhere to all safety protocols (OSHA), ensure code compliance, and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of work orders, service reports, and materials used.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  Completed a 3–5 year apprenticeship program.
• Certification:
  Valid Journeyman HVAC license
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electricity, refrigeration piping
• (brazing), and wiring diagrams.
• Physical Ability:
  Ability to lift heavy equipment, work on roofs, and operate in
• confined spaces
