Position: Ultrasound Technologist - Full-Time

Ultrasound Technologist – Full‑Time

Join an energetic, patient‑focused team at Outpatient Imaging Affiliates in Holmdel, New Jersey. This full‑time position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Prior experience in breast and vascular imaging is required.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Sonographer performs sonographic procedures, ensures safe service delivery, and provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Responsibilities
  • Performs sonographic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed Sonographer.
  • Graduate of an approved diagnostic sonography program.
  • Registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) or ARRT (S). OB, Abdominal, or General certification required upon hire, RVT certification required within one year, meet state licensure requirements.
  • Skill in operation of Sonography equipment and ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask and provide accurate documentation.
  • Understanding of human cross‑sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
