• 10+ years experience with Postgre
  
  SQL administration in production
• 10+ years hands‑on AWS experience, especially with RDS for Postgre
  
  SQL, MSSQL, and Aurora
• Proven track record supporting enterprise environments, including on‑call support
• Expertise in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring tools
• Deep understanding of backup, recovery, and high availability/disaster recovery strategies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical teams
• Experience working in fast‑paced, global settings with a proactive, operational mindset

• Scripting and automation in Python
• Familiarity with other databases like Mongo
  
  DB, MySQL, or Azure/GCP platforms
• Infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD pipelines experience
• Previous experience migrating MSSQL to PostgreSQL

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• AWS certifications or similar cloud credentials
• Prior experience in leading database architecture transformations or large‑scale migrations

• Ability to work across multiple time zones with flexibility
• Hybrid work environment with global team collaboration
• Occasional travel for team building, vendor meetings, and architecture reviews
