National Account Manager - FMCG
Holsworthy (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH) – Up to £45,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
We’re delighted to be partnering with a growing, values‑led FMCG business to recruit an experienced National Account Manager for a key commercial hire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a family‑run, ethical brand producing award‑winning “free from” products, with a strong reputation for quality, inclusivity, and collaboration.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of a portfolio of national customers across both branded and own‑label ranges, playing a pivotal role in driving profitable growth and building long‑term customer partnerships.
The RoleYou’ll have full commercial responsibility for multiple national accounts, acting as the primary customer contact while working cross‑functionally to deliver performance.
Key responsibilities include:- Full P&L ownership across a portfolio of national accounts
- Managing and developing senior customer relationships
- Delivering joint business plans, range reviews, promotions, and NPD launches
- Leading negotiations on pricing, terms, promotions, and contracts
- Managing both branded and own‑label portfolios
- Forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
- Collaborating closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and NPD teams
- Project managing new product launches
- Identifying growth opportunities and driving profitable volume
We’re looking to speak with commercially driven National Account Managers who thrive in fast‑paced environments and enjoy managing complex customer relationships.
You’ll ideally have:- Proven experience as a National Account Manager (FMCG)
- Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Exposure to both own‑label and branded products
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent commercial and analytical capability - Confidence working cross‑functionally
- A proactive, ownership‑led mindset
- Salary up to £45,000 plus car allowance and bonus
- Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
