Land Machinery Engineer​/Technician Residency

Position: Land Based Machinery Engineer / Technician Residency Required. Full Time)

* We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Land Based Machinery Engineer / Technician for our Holsworthy branch.

Duties & Responsibilities
* As an Land Based Machinery Engineer / Technician, you will be predominately working on professional ground care machines, as well as some construction and agricultural equipment, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

* PDI’ing new and used machinery to the manufacturer’s specification.

* Servicing machinery to the manufacturer’s specification on and off site.

* Repairing machinery to the manufacturer’s specification on and off site.

* Competent to carry out diagnostics.

* Ensuring paperwork (job cards, timesheets) is completed in a timely manner with details as requested.

* Mentoring apprentices and trainees

* Secondary Responsibilities
* These responsibilities are essential in a small business where all members of the team are required to work flexibly and help in all and any area during busy periods

* To provide high levels of customer service

* To represent Vincents and promote its brand throughout all activities.

* Keep company information confidential

* Ability to work hours as required by the business.

* Relevant Experience
* * Essential
* * Have land based engineering experience

* Desirable
* * Other industries will be considered or someone who is familiar with the industry, machinery and terminology.

* First Aid qualification

* Education/ Training
* * Essential
* * Four GSCE or equivalent, Maths and English, grade 5 or above

* A current driver’s licence

* Desirable
* * Engineering qualification
