Monarch Early Learning Center is a brand new early learning environment dedicated to fostering the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of young children in Flint, MI. As an Early Childhood Teacher at Monarch Early Learning Center, you'll play a vital role in shaping the lives of curious young minds! You'll create a warm and engaging classroom environment, develop innovative lesson plans, and guide children (3-4 years of age) on their exciting learning journey. We're looking for a passionate and dedicated team member who thrives in a collaborative setting and is committed to nurturing the potential of each child.

• Cultivate a safe, secure, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration and discovery.
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that are age-appropriate and aligned with our curriculum.
• Supervise daily routines and activities, ensuring the well-being and safety of each child.
• Build positive relationships with children, fostering their individuality and self-esteem.
• Collaborate with co-teachers on lesson planning, classroom management, and daily tasks.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed on their child's progress.
• Continuously learn and grow through professional development opportunities.

• High School diploma required, with a CDA Credential or college experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or a child-related field (a plus!).
• Strong understanding of child development philosophies and practices.
• Passion for creating engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) and a commitment to bi-yearly renewal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
