The role

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on IT Administrator (Corporate) to lead the management and optimization of our corporate technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations across servers, networks, and end‑user systems, while driving initiatives that strengthen cybersecurity and system performance. The ideal candidate is a solutions‑oriented professional with a passion for technology, data‑driven decision‑making, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

This position is a hybrid role at one of our Michigan locations and reports to the Senior IT Manager as part of the Corporate Information Technology team.

What You’ll Do
  • Server and Workstation Management:
    Oversee multiple servers and workstations, ensuring seamless integration with existing company systems.
  • Network and System Troubleshooting:
    Diagnose and resolve issues across networks, systems, and applications to maintain optimal performance.
  • Security and Cybersecurity Administration:
  • Implement and manage system security policies, including firewalls, access controls, file permissions, and user account management.
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats, conduct vulnerability assessments, and apply patches to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company cybersecurity protocols.
  • Software Installation and Maintenance:
    Install, configure, and troubleshoot new or upgraded software on servers and client platforms, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Website Management:
    Design, develop, and maintain company websites and associated pages.
  • Hardware and Infrastructure Support:
    Research, evaluate, install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, and network infrastructure components.
  • User Training and Support:
    Develop and deliver training programs for employees on operating systems, networking, applications, databases, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Data Backup and Recovery:
    Perform regular backups and ensure reliable data recovery processes for all company servers.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all IT activities and processes.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    Adhere to company policies, including emergency evacuation procedures and IT compliance standards.
Who You Are
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of college education or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in IT support within manufacturing or assembly operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows‑based applications and database management systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Standing and sitting in office and manufacturing environment, normal amounts of computer work, lifting of computer equipment up to 70 lbs.
  • Up to 25% of travel may be required.
