Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineering
- Design and develop embedded microprocessor-based systems, memory subsystems, and analog circuits.
- Perform schematic capture, high-density PCB layout, and board bring-up for hardware products.
- Work with CAD tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro), oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and DMMs to validate designs.
- Apply digital and analog circuit design theory in real-world product development.
- Design and optimize battery management systems and DC-DC power supplies.
- Develop solutions for lithium-ion battery design, including gas gauging, charging, and cell/battery management.
- Integrate and troubleshoot computer/smartphone chipsets (Qualcomm, TI, etc.).
- Apply EMC best practices and conduct regulatory troubleshooting (e.g., ESD, EMI).
- Work with embedded communication protocols (DDR, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, RS232, etc.).
- Contribute to high-volume product development, ensuring design for manufacturing and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware-software integration.
Skills:
- Embedded microprocessors, memory systems, and analog circuits.
- PCB schematic capture and layout.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Cadence Allegro, etc.).
- Strong hands-on lab experience with test and measurement tools.
- Battery management system and DC-DC power supply design expertise.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery design and management.
- Experience with EMC, ESD, and EMI troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (DDR, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, RS232).
