Trainee Accountant We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join an established and highly regarded local practice as a Trainee Accountant. This role is ideal for someone eager to begin or further their career in accountancy practice, offering a robust support system for professional development, including full AAT study support. This role is based in King's Lynn and is easily commutable from a number of local areas.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Client Accounts:
Set up new accounts files, process records to draft accounts stage, and complete necessary reconciliations. Draft client communications and manage administration tasks. Utilise Cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, or Sage for transaction processing. VAT, Bookkeeping & Management Accounts:
Prepare draft VAT returns, manage client communications, and submit final returns to HMRC. Produce regular management accounts based on detailed bookkeeping. Tax Compliance:
Prepare supporting documents for self-assessment tax returns and engage in Making Tax Digital initiatives. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Excel and ideally a familiarity with IT packages such as Xero and Sage. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team. Experience in a practice setting is desirable but not essential. Benefits:
