Job Overview
This post is permanent Part Time - 20 hours per week. The West Area Team is looking for experienced, organised and enthusiastic Receptionist to work at The Primary Care Treatment Room, Penrhos Stanley Hospital, Holyhead.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
Main duties of the jobPrevious experience of working within a GP Practice would be beneficial and knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is desirable, however training can be given. The demands of the Treatment Room can change on a daily basis and therefore this role will be challenging.
The post holder will be booking appointments and dealing with patient queries therefore excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner is required.
Proficient IT skills (including experience of Microsoft office) is also required as the post holder will also be undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth day to day running of the practices, including some data inputting.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a healthcare setting but full training can be given to the right candidate.

Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria- IT skills to RSA or equivalent experience
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- ECDL
- Knowledge of a range of work procedures
- Experience working in an office environment
- Knowledge of Data Protection
- Previous NHS or Education experience
- Ability to handle information tactfully
- Ability to exercise judgement when dealing with enquiries and problems
- Good computer skills
- Proven communication skills
- Able to remain calm under pressure
