Pensions Operations Administrator Liverpool City Centre (Hybrid Working) £27,000 - £32,000 DOE Full Time | Permanent ASAP Start Available Discretionary bonus available The Opportunity We're working with a growing and highly respected financial services organisation seeking an experienced Pensions Operations Administrator to join their Liverpool-based team. This is a hands-on operational role supporting the administration of pension schemes, with a particular focus on SIPP and SSAS arrangements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with FCA regulatory requirements. This is not a customer service or call centre position. We're looking for someone who has genuine experience processing pension administration work within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities Process and maintain operational changes across pension schemes Support the administration of Terms of Business (TOB) agreements Manage adviser and agency changes accurately and within agreed SLAs Maintain accurate client, adviser and scheme records Assist with complaints administration, investigations and tracking Monitor workflows, case queues and outstanding actions Ensure all activities are completed in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures Support internal audits, quality assurance and compliance activities Investigate and resolve operational issues and exceptions Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational projects Liaise with advisers, clients and third parties to obtain information and documentation Essential Requirements Previous experience working within Pensions Administration Strong understanding of SIPP and/or SSAS pensions Experience working within a regulated Financial Services environment Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively Strong administrative and organisational skills Experience maintaining accurate records and audit trails Confident communicating with advisers, clients and internal stakeholders Please Note Candidates must have previous Pensions Administration experience with SIPP and/or SSAS exposure.
