Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We're offering an exciting opportunity to join our new client with complex needs in Anglesey.
Shift typeDay shifts, sleeping nights & waking nights available
PayDays -£15.87 per hour weekdays, £16.67 per hour weekends.
Nights -£16.67 per hour weekday waking nights, £17.46 per hour weekend waking nights
Hours- Full time or part time hours to be considered
Days
-7 days per week, 8am-8pm
Nights
-7 nights per week, 8pm-8am, both waking and sleeping available.
You'll be supporting on a 2:1 basis with a 5-year-old girl who has complex needs including cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy, visual impairment, jejunal feeding, suctioning and oxygen. We're looking for someone with previous experience in complex care with children and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.
Our client lives at home with her family and enjoys sensory play and water, including hydrotherapy. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.
What We're Looking ForDue to the client's needs, we're seeking a support worker with:
- Complex clinical experience including Jejunal feeding and suctioning desirable, however training can be provided to up-skill for some clinical requirements if you are competent with others needs of the clients.
- Agenuine passion for care and making a difference
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family
Key Responsibilities- Support with daily/nightly routines
- Monitoring condition overnight
- Administer medication
- Assist with personal hygiene and mobility
- Administer medication and monitor health
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
