The role

As a Fleet Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness and safety of a specialist vehicle fleet supporting defence operations. • Planning and coordinating all fleet maintenance activities to maximise vehicle availability
  • Overseeing diagnostics, fault identification, and repair decision‑making

  • Experience working within or alongside a military or highly regulated workshop environment
  • Strong knowledge of HGV maintenance operations and fleet management systems
  • Understanding of ADR regulations and specialist vehicles such as fuel bowsers
  • Experience producing and implementing risk assessments and COSHH documentation
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain processes, or local purchasing.
