Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding team - Thurrock Council

Our client, Thurrock Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its Safeguarding Team. The role will last 3 months initially with pay rate TBC but should be at least £32 per hour. The role will involve the following:
Adults Safeguarding Team. The candidate will be working with Adults who have been referred to the team due to concerns about safeguarding. Cover emergency safeguarding duty visits Complete initial information gathering and signpost when concerns are received Complete s42 safeguarding enquiries Participate in safeguarding strategy meetings. Requirements of the role:
Qualified Social Worker Fully Social Work England registered Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care Ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of good quality experience in adult social care Candidate should have safeguarding knowledge and expertise Please apply online or contact Lindsey Morgan asap to discuss in more detail.
