Overview
To accurately record cash receipts against patient account balances and payor logs. To process cash receipts and forward to Cashier for deposit. To accurately input statistical data for log, such as:
Medicare Part A and B, Medicaid and Blue Cross, etc. To develop, maintain, correct, balance, and summarize all third party payor logs. To accurately input cash posting, to transfer self pay balance to patients, to appropriately notate rejections on the patient's bill and contractualize where needed.
- Record cash receipts against patient account balances and payor logs.
- Process cash receipts and forward to Cashier for deposit.
- Input statistical data for logs (e.g., Medicare Part A and B, Medicaid, Blue Cross).
- Develop, maintain, correct, balance, and summarize all third party payor logs.
- Input cash posting, transfer self-pay balance to patients, and properly notate rejections on patient bills and contractualize where needed.
