Job Title

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Adult Inpatient Psych, 24‑Hour Day Shift

Mira Vista Behavioral Health Center

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Weekend and Holiday rotation)

Help provide compassionate, therapeutic care to adults in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients’ recovery and safety.

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Continuously assess patients’ physical and psychological condition throughout the continuum of care.
• Apply the nursing process in alignment with Mira Vista’s philosophy, values, and core principles.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu grounded in core values.
• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Contribute to each patient’s treatment plan by developing, implementing, and documenting appropriate goals and interventions.
• Float to all units as needed.

• Current LPN license from the State of Massachusetts.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of behavioral health and substance‑use disorder treatment modalities.
• Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Preferred: prior experience in psychiatric or substance‑use inpatient care, including restraint reduction, de‑escalation, and crisis intervention.

$3 for evenings, $5 for nights, $3 for weekends.
