Nursing Supervisor (Registered Nurse)

Trinity Health Senior Communities invites applications for the Nursing Supervisor (Registered Nurse) role at our senior community in Holyoke, MA. This position offers 32‑40 hours per week, flexible shifts from 11am to 7pm, and an hourly rate of $32–$48, depending on experience and qualifications.

Full time. Shift: 11am‑7pm, 32‑40 hours weekly.

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN Shift Supervisor will supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the community, ensuring care quality in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and the organization’s policies.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, develop, mentor, coach, counsel, and discipline department staff.
  • Participate in community surveys and develop a plan of correction for department deficiencies when necessary.
  • Supervise care delivery systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in quality improvement processes, including audits and system checks.
  • Support admits, transfers, and discharges of residents as required; perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled training, in‑service training, mandatory annual in‑service training, and educational classes as required.
  • Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in this state.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner.
