Sage Group Health Care Staffing is seeking Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for multipletravel / contract positions in Holyoke, MA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate:
Range $2200 to $2480 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Behavioral health unit
Shift: 8 Hours;
Days, 7 am - 3.30 pm or Nights, 11.00 pm - 7.30 am
Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, every other weekend and every other holiday
Position Requirements- Registered Nurse: 2 years
- Required - Recent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioralhealth nursing: 1 year – Required
- Experience in Psychiatric Inpatient setting: 1 year – Required
- Restraint Reduction de-escalation/ crisis intervention experience – Highly preferred.
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of MA
- Required (Can apply for MA RN License upon offer) - CPI Certification or similar
- Preferred - BLS Certification from AHA

- Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral health unit/s.
- The Registered Nurse (RN) manages and coordinates the nursing care activities during the client'shospitalization in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
This includes assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes,implementation, and evaluation. - Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu and works collaboratively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and contributes to each patient’s individual treatment planby helping develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions, informed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatricproblems.
- Ability to use critical thinking to make decisions and solve problems.
- Advanced level knowledge of Behavior Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities.
- Applies nursing process from aTrauma Informed Recovery model of care
- Develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Use of Electronic Medical Record;crisis management, time management
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
- Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
