On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1232) s role is On-Demand; shifts and schedule are posted by leaders and via the myTime mobile scheduling app. You can work as much or as little as you like, with a schedule that may vary based on shift availability and store needs. If offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule before using the myTime app to pick shifts.

The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $17.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $17.25 USD - $25.90 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests in finding solutions to their needs and resolving concerns.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose Target.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed; be familiar with fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Explain and demonstrate Wallet and other Target App features to guests.
• Handle returns by following register prompts and collaborating with leadership as needed, while following Target policies and procedures.
• De-escalate situations with leadership support to recover the guest shopping experience.
• Provide accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and assist with stock during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders, and drive-up returns, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• Support cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Strong communication and guest-service orientation; ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services and engage around them.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment; comfortable using multiple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Accurately handle cash register operations and support cash office as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and occasionally work with items up to 44 pounds; ability to stand and be mobile for scheduled shifts.
