Planning Engineer
Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join an exciting energy project in Point Of Ayr (Talacre) on a 12-month contract. This role will suit someone with strong scheduling expertise within an EPCI environment, who enjoys ensuring projects run to plan. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project and work with a collaborative team.

Client Overview
Our client is a global leader in the engineering and construction sector, delivering complex projects for the energy industry.
Responsibilities
Develop the Project Schedule in line with contractual requirements and internal standards, ensuring feasibility and highlighting any critical points.
Implement and maintain the Planning and Progress Control System.
Identify and analyse any deviations from the baseline plan promptly.
Promote schedule awareness among all project participants.
Prepare and maintain 90-day look-ahead, weekly and monthly schedules.
Support the Project Control Manager in preparing Project Status Reports.
Perform time impact analyses during contract amendments and claims.
Participate actively in risk management, including schedule risk assessments.
Must-have Requirements
5–8 years’ experience in planning within an EPCI project environment.
Proven ability to plan construction phases effectively.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with risk analysis methods related to project scheduling.
Familiarity with process improvement initiatives in project controls.
