Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)
Our client, a leading manufacturer & part of a multi-site organisation, require a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally electrically trained or with good PLC fault finding skills.

This is a permanent position working on double days shift (7:00am-3:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm) paying circa 45k per annum + £280 weekend
* callout payment.

* On call 1 weekend in 6 & usually only phone calls required when on call.

You will be part of a small maintenance team and the position is based in the Holywell area, commutable from the South Wirral, Deeside, Wrexham, Chester areas.

Details:

To be considered for the role the following experience/skills is required;

* Apprentice trained in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, ideally HNC level.

* Strong manufacturing background in reactive & PPM work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintenance and fault finding on PLC-controlled systems

* Working with pneumatics, pumps, tanks, conveyors and associated plant

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)

* Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Experience &

Qualifications:

* 2-3+ years' maintenance experience (minimum)

* Experience with in manufacturing or process environments

* 18th Edition Electrical qualification desirable

* Strong fault-finding skills (electrical and/or mechanical)

* Training and development can be provided
