Our client, a leading manufacturer & part of a multi-site organisation, require a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally electrically trained or with good PLC fault finding skills. This is a permanent position working on double days shift (7:00am‑3:00pm / 2:00pm‑10:00pm) paying circa 45k per annum + £280 weekend callout payment. On call 1 weekend in 6 & usually only phone calls required when on call.

You will be part of a small maintenance team and the position is based in the Holywell area, commutable from the South Wirral, Deeside, Wrexham, Chester areas.

To be considered for the role the following experience/skills is required;

• Maintenance and fault finding on PLC‑controlled systems
• Working with pneumatics, pumps, tanks, conveyors and associated plant
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
• Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

• 2-3+ years' maintenance experience (minimum)
• Experience with in manufacturing or process environments
• 18th Edition Electrical qualification desirable
• Strong fault‑finding skills (electrical and/or mechanical)
• Training and development can be provided
