Salary

Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus £1,000 Relocation Allowance.

Overview

At Celyn Vet Group we are looking for an experienced vet surgeon to join our team. Ideally with a keen interest in surgery and comfortable being sole charge when required with the support of our nurse and reception team.

Our Practice

Celyn Vet Group have three well‑established Veterinary practices based in Holywell, Prestatyn & Abergele. Our well‑equipped practices include 2 vet consult rooms, a theatre and prep room, ultrasound, digital and dental x‑ray, Idexx lab facilities, and multi‑parameter monitoring equipment.

Team

You’ll be joining a skilled team of 1 Senior Vet Surgeon, 2 Vet Surgeons, 5 RVNs, 1 ACA, and 5 Receptionists, all supported by our Practice Director. We strongly encourage professional development, and many of our team are working toward or hold certificates in areas including dentistry, and nursing surgical certificates.

Rota

Wherever you are in your career, we’re here to support you. The role offers flexible full or part‑time hours. Typical working hours are 8 am‑7 pm over three days with a shorter fourth day, but we’re happy to discuss five shorter days if that suits you better. There will be the opportunity to work across all three sites to provide plenty of variety.

We are very lucky to be based in the beautiful location of North Wales. We are spoilt with natural beauty from beaches to blissful country walks.
