Must have active certificate from police check

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated healthcare assistant to join our team. As a vital member of our care staff, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality support to residents in a care home setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, helping to implement care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those in your care.

This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to delivering excellent care, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

* assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

* support individuals with mobility and transfers as needed.

* help implement and monitor care plans tailored to each resident's needs.

* maintain accurate records of daily activities and any changes in residents' conditions.

* communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.

* ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols.

* participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.

* drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.

Experience

* previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.

* a good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is beneficial.

* proficiency in english is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues.

* basic it skills are advantageous for maintaining records and documentation.
