Our client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of Health & Safety across their is a charitable organisation located in the North Down area where you will be based at a large single site. Your new role Our client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their estates management division on a temporary basis.

The role will be responsible for leading the organisation's health and safety function across a large diverse single site. Whilst initially offered on a temporary basis, there is a long-term requirement for this position and the successful candidate may have the opportunity to be considered for future permanent opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing Health & Safety policies and procedures Leading risk assessment and risk management activities Investigating incidents and monitoring corrective actions Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements Managing audits, inspections and regulatory visits Developing emergency response and business continuity plans Delivering Health & Safety training and awareness initiatives Providing expert advice to managers and staff What you'll need to succeed To be eligible for this role, you must have:
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related discipline Minimum 5 years' Health & Safety experience Experience leading teams Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation Full driving licence and access to transport What you'll get in return Salary £41,200 / £19.82 per hour 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 40 days annual leave, 28 holidays and 12 stat days Immediate start available.
