Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in an acute care setting requiring an active AK RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a combined acute care and ICU unit with 18 acute care beds and 2 ICU beds
- Acute care/ICU setting caring for critically ill adult patients
- 12-hour shifts with exact shifts to be discussed during the interview
- Coverage may include all shifts depending on facility needs
- Uses the Tru Bridge - Evident EMR system
- This assignment is for a 13-week contract
- Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to acute and critically ill patients
- Shift cancellation policy allows up to 3 canceled shifts per 13-week assignment
- Orientation hours are not provided for this assignment
- Active Alaska (AK) RN license is required
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory
- A minimum of 2 years of RN experience is required
- Experience working in ICU or acute care settings is required
