Tax Professional - Franchise

What you’ll do

As a seasonal Tax Professional you’ll build and grow client relationships, preparing accurate tax returns, conducting client interviews face‑to‑face and virtually, and supporting teammates.

• Conduct virtual and in‑person tax interviews, including video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships
• Generate business growth and client retention, offering additional products and services
• Provide IRS support, audit representation as needed
• Mentor and support teammates

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support

• Successful completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Fast‑paced work environment experience
• Comfort with virtual tools: video, phone, chat
• Strong written and verbal communication
