This position will provide personal financial services at assigned military installations. The primary responsibilities encompass a broad range of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families, including one-on‑one counseling, briefings and presentations, and referral resources. The role collaborates closely with installation and branch points of contact to ensure program scope and installation needs are met.

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
• Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
• Develop and make available informational financial materials to service members and families.
• Coordinate, publicize, and provide a wide variety of personal financial management classes/workshops covering various life‑cycle topics, including arrival at first duty station, pre‑ and post‑deployment, and events outlined in DoDI 1322.34.
• Respond to requests for age‑appropriate classes or seminars.
• Effectively utilize virtual counseling or other electronic communication modes (web‑based, secure online chat, video‑based communications).
• Manage duty‑to‑warn situations according to DoD protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information on trends and issues.
• Participate in regular in‑services/training, quality improvement committees, or other contract activities as assigned/appropriate.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree required (Associate degree + 4 years experience or High School + 6 years experience may be considered).
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish may be required.
• Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
• Must hold one of the following certifications:
  Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

• High School/GED minimum education required.
• License and Certifications required: AFC, CFP, ChFC.

Salary range: $53,125 – $84,995 per year. This reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position. Additional incentives may be available, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.
