Truss Assembler

Deco Truss, a Division of USLBM, is seeking Truss Assemblers in Homestead, FL

Founded in 1983, Deco Truss serves framing and building contractors for residential, multi-family and commercial projects. In addition to manufacturing all types of truss systems, Deco Truss also provides lumber, decking and roofing materials, rebar, millwork and doors, fencing supplies, tools, hardware and more to customers. Deco Truss operates an 8.5-acre manufacturing plant and retail location in Miami and will operate as a unit of US LBM’s Raymond Building Supply.

Wage: $15 hourly paid weekly

• Assembling precut wooden parts
• Moving precut parts to work areas and positioning parts in alignment with supervisors’ instructions and blueprint specifications
• Verify dimensions of precut parts for accuracy of assembly
• Utilize hammers, saws, pneumatic nail and staple guns to connect parts
• Experience: some experience with hammers, nails, measuring tape.
• Physical. Ability to stand for 8-10 hour work shifts
• Heavy Lifting. Ability to lift up to 75lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift
• Willingness. Must have the drive to learn
