DescriptionThe Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks (e.g., wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of a registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works closely with the assigned RN to provide safe, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Perform basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks.
- Collaborate with RN to provide quality patient-centered care.
- Support wound care, catheter care and other delegated responsibilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent, GED, or related training.
- Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
- CNA or LPN required.
- Preferred 2 years of experience in acute care in Florida.
- Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida preferred.
Minimum required experience: 2 years.
