Full‑time shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. $25,000 sign‑on bonus.

The Direct Patient Care (DPC) Registered Nurse delivers patient‑family centered care in Labor & Delivery. The RN demonstrates proficiency in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The role promotes evidence‑based practice and ensures quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

• Assess and manage labor patients from admission through delivery and postpartum care.
• Perform technical nursing skills and interventions per protocol.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Document assessments, plans, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Implement evidence‑based clinical practice guidelines.
• Lead and supervise less experienced staff when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control.

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (preferred Bachelor’s).
• Registered Nurse license in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Labor & Delivery nurse.

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Certificate

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South) or other dates may continue without BSN.
• RNs with Associate’s must complete BSN within 5 years from hire date.
• Completion of a preceptor class within 12 months of being deemed competent.
• Required certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, ONS‑Chemotherapy) may apply.

1 year as a Labor & Delivery Nurse in an acute care setting.
