Job Description

The Optical Sales Associate provides support to the Optician with sales, ordering, selling frames and providing excellent customer service to clients.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Greeting customers
• Assist customers with selecting frames and sales
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Assist Optician in placing orders and track inventory
• Maintain records of customer prescriptions, work orders, and payments
• Instruct customers on how to wear and care for eyeglasses
• Other duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma
• Experience working in a retail environment required
• Optical sales experience preferred

Skills

• Excellent customer service and retail skills with the ability to sell high-end optical products and services confidently
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Must be polite, friendly and self-motivated
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
