- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Work collaboratively with local staff or law enforcement to address security-related concerns.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies in accordance with site-specific protocols.
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
