About the Role:

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Construction Team Lead to join our team at CSM Birmingham LLC. As a Construction Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading a production team in various construction projects and will have direct oversight on the residential and commercial worksites.

Responsibilities:

Installing moisture barrier in crawlspaces including full encapsulation

Oversee Structural repairs in the crawlspace

Lead the two or three person crew and ensure quality work and a high level of customer service is delivered to our  able to troubleshoot issues as they arise and communicate with the Production Manager and adjust accordingly.

Manage jobsite: safety, efficient workflow, quality work, timeliness, materials procurement, work folders, professional communication with customers and office staff.

Daily plan and manage tools and materials efficiently and effectively.

Communicate consistently, giving daily updates to the management team on job status and communicating with Operations on inventory needs, including supplies for upcoming jobs as well as stocked items.

Represent the Crawlspace Medic brand with the utmost respect and professionalism.

Requirements:

Previous experience with construction and repair (preferred), most notably repairs in the crawlspace, including structural repair (sills, girders, joists, subfloors, piers) and moisture remediation/ waterproofing (interior french drains, moisture barriers, dehumidification systems).Willing to be flexible in duties from day to day and hour to hour.

Has a Driver’s License, and is able to pass a DMV license check and have reliable transportation to and from work.

Has excellent Leadership and people skills, professional in their interactions with both customers and coworkers.

Has a strong desire to reach and exceed set goals in all areas of the job.

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.
