Position Summary

The Customer Service Manager will oversee a team of Inside Sales Representatives and Customer Service professionals. This role is critical in driving customer satisfaction, optimizing team performance, and ensuring the seamless flow of communication between sales, logistics, and valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales/customer service representatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure timely and accurate order processing, quoting, and customer support.
  • Implement customer service standards and ensure consistent application across the team.
  • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), conduct regular team meetings, and provide coaching to drive performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and urgency.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflow and improve service levels.
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of customer service leadership experience, preferably in a distribution, manufacturing, or B2B sales environment.
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Net Suite, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
