Position Overview

The Patient Services Coordinator acts as a central point of contact for patients, providers, and internal teams, ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience. This role focuses on coordinating patient services, managing high‑volume communications, and providing administrative support within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient interaction.

• Serve as a primary contact via phone and electronic communication, addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Verify and update demographics, insurance information, and eligibility.
• Assist with questions regarding billing, coverage, referrals, and care processes.
• Route messages and requests to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Manage high call volumes while maintaining service standards and accuracy.
• Identify and elevate complex patient concerns to appropriate leadership.
• Perform additional administrative and coordination tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare, patient services, or medical office environment.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and scheduling workflows preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
