Snelling is recruiting an experienced Inventory/Receiving Specialist for a Birmingham-area company. This position will be responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing inventory and materials while helping maintain accurate inventory records.
Job Responsibilities of Inventory/Receiving Specialist:- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and shipments
- Verify quantities and items against packing slips and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts
- Pull, stage, and distribute materials as needed
- Organize and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse/inventory area
- Assist with shipping and preparing materials for delivery
- Communicate with internal departments regarding inventory and material needs
- Occasionally travel to Oxford and Gadsden, AL to assist with inventory and receiving
