JOB TITLE: Job Coach
LOCATION: Based in Honiton with travel throughout the Axminster, Seaton and Exmouth areas

HOURS: Part-time, 15 hours per week Term time only
SALARY: £26,715 FTE plus essential car allowance (£1,353.42 per annum pro rata)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Job Coach to join our team based in Honiton, supporting young people across the Axminster, Seaton and Exmouth areas. If you have experience in CEIAG (Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) and hold a full UK driving licence, we would love to hear from you.

You will support delivery of the programme through a combination of education-based and work-related activities, delivered both one-to-one and in group settings.
You will:
- Engage and motivate young people through community-based delivery, encouraging participation and progression towards positive outcomes
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel across the Axminster, Seaton and Exmouth areas
- Work closely with employers to provide in-work support and ensure sustainable employment outcomes for young people aged 16–24
- Support young people, particularly those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), complex needs, those at risk of social exclusion and those from marginalised communities
- Plan and deliver a person-centred, accredited programme tailored to individual needs and aspirations
- Confidence building and personal development
- CV writing, job searching and interview skills
- Travel training
- Health and wellbeing activities
- Cooking and independent living skills
- Community projects
- Supported work tasters, work experience, internships and job trials
You will have:
- Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting, including those with special educational needs and social, emotional or behavioural challenges
- An understanding of the supported employment process
- Basic knowledge of social enterprises
- Strong IT, organisational and self-management skills
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to market individuals or services to employers
We provide both formal and on-the-job training, with access to national specialists who offer expert guidance on best practice, inclusion, quality, and health and safety. You will receive a full induction and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.
