Office based, commutable from Taunton, Exeter, Honiton, Exmouth, Chard, Ilminster and Surrounding Areas.

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for automotive, motor sport, agriculture, defence or similar, to join a multinational business and work on pioneering engineering designs within the automotive and defence sectors. The role offers the opportunity to take the lead on projects, working from concept to completion, while expanding technical skillset through training.

• Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD to agreed requirements in the automotive sector.
• Innovate and improve designs to continuously push boundaries and competencies within the team and business.
• Work on projects from concept to completion.

• HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Competent in using CAD to create 2D and 3D drawings and designs.
• Interest in automotive.
• Looking for an opportunity to train and progress within a company.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance.
